Primeleaf Consulting announces Version 2016 for KRYSTAL Document Management System

Today we announce the release of most advanced and versatile version of of flagship product KRYSTAL DMS. The new and improved version 2016 promises exciting new features and is more user friendly, and efficient. The new version focuses on automation for day to day tasks of Document Management.
Each new release of KRYSTAL DMS brings new features and product improvements. The following is a summary of the new or improved features that were added in the KRYSTAL DMS - 2016 release that support the implementation of the paperless office. This version is in line with Primeleaf's commitment to provide the best features to the customers at an affordable price.

Document Viewer NEW
KRYSTAL DMS is now equipped with a pure HTML based Document Viewer for non JAVA supported browsers. KRYSTAL DMS is now completely platform agnostic. You can use any device, any time, anywhere to manage your business critical documents and information it contains. All JAVA supporting browsers will continue to be supported by KRYSTAL Document Viewer.
Document Ratings NEW
Using KRYSTAL DMS to implement a Knowledge Repository is a very common way to share any kind of informations among the staff. In this scenario it is important to give users the option to rate a document, so that all the people interested in a specific topic will be able to note what documents are preferred by the user's community.
Automated Workflow Notification NEW
Users participating in workflow process of the system will now receive automated email notification when s/he starts the process and submits case. Users receives email notification when s/he is assigned a workflow task and when s/he performs an action on the task. Automated reminders are also sent to users for tasks pending in thier work queue.
Internal Collaborative Messages NEW
Users of KRYSTAL DMS can now message and collaborate with each other using this feature of the system. Users can now send messages to each other using @username. Each user who is mentioned in the message will also receive an email notification for the message mentioning his/her name.
Enhanced - Document Searching
KRYSTAL DMS now uses the latest cutting edge search technologies and is now powered by Apache Lucene ( A high-performance, full-featured text search engine library written entirely in Java) search engine capabilities. Users will now be able to perform searches using boolean operators like "AND" , "OR" , "NOT" along with compelte phrase and wildcard searches using "*" and "?" operators.
Enhanced - Reporting
KRYSTAL DMS is now equipped with enhanced reporting capabilities. Administrators can now view reports for user-wise and date-wise document upload. Document Revision report allows administrator to view version control activites performed by users of the system. A new report is now available for administrators to get details about workflow tasks initiated for each workflow process.
Enhanced - Performance
The entire Document database structure has been optimized for superior performance and scalability in KRYSTAL DMS 2016. From accessing views to adding metadata to checking in documents, you can feel the increased speed.
In addition to the new features, Primeleaf has made significant changes and updates to its underlying technologies that build on the existing high performance, scalability and reliability that the KRYSTAL DMS - platform is known for.
